Version 10.0 of the Boogey Lights Bluetooth Android APP was released in January of 2017 and is the most recent release before the release of our newest Version 15.    If you are unable to get Version 15 to work on your phone, you can run this version.  This file is password protected so if you're in this situation let us know and we'll give you the password.

Installing this APK file to your phone can be done a number of ways but we're assuming you're downloading the file on a device other than your phone itself (e.g. a desktop computer). If so, you will need to transfer the APK file to the phone. The easiest way to do this is to connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable. Once you have your phone connected to your computer with the USB cable, simply copy/transfer the APK file you downloaded from our site to a directory on your phone. We recommend saving the APK file in the DCIM directory or similar directory where you already store user generated files (e.g. photos).

At that point you can disconnect the USB cable from your computer as the rest of the process will be done on the phone itself. Then, using your favorite Android file manager on your phone (see suggestions below if you don't have one), navigate to the directory where you saved the APK file. Select the .APK file you downloaded. Read the screen from there to complete the installation.    It is IMPORTANT that you first UNINSTALL the existing APP on your phone completely before installing this new file.  We also suggest turning off your phone completely and restarting before doing a new install.

-> Note that depending upon your current settings, you may be prompted to allow the installation of APPs from "unknown sources".  You can change this setting in the Security section.   For what it is worth, we are a "known" source but because you are installing this file from our website versus installing it from Google Play, that box has to be checked.
